8 hours in shanghai

Question

I have 8 hours transit time between London and Sydney. I have an Australian passport. Is there anything I can do for 1/2 day tour and be sure to get back in time for my flight ?   I can organize a 24 hour visa before I leave Australia

You can have a short visit to Nanjing Rd, the bund and Huangpu River by Maglev & Subway.Take the Maglev to Longyang Rd and interchange to subway line 2 to Nanjing Rd (E). Walk east along the road, you can see the bund and the river.
