About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Round trip USA to Shanghai

Hi if we are visting Shanghai from the US and returning to the US in under 72 hours (business trip) with a US passport do we need a visa?

USA-Shanghai-USA is not a transit, so you cannot enjoy the free transit policy. Try to apply for a visa for that trip beforehand.
