About:Hong Kong Visa Policy

Staying in Hong Kong. Hi, Im from Philippines and I living in Ireland

I want to go to Hong Kong in this summer, but it says for only 14days without visa, so I asked one of my friend from Hong Kong to ring the Hong Kong immigration, they were saying that if I go to Macau just for one day and come back to Hong Kong after, so that I can stay in Hong King for 3weeks. I was wondering if this is possible?
