i am traveling kolkata-kunming-shanghai-jeju. all in china eastern airlines.

Layover in Kunming 2 hours. In SH 1 hour 40 mins. Do I need to claim baggage and recheckin in Kunming and SH? Also is the layover time enough for connecting flights?

Yes, you need to reclaim the bags in Kunming but no need to recheck in bags in SH. The time is a little rushing, but I think your flight is a connecting flight, the airline will arrange that well for you.
