About:Policy for Foreigners with Immediate Family Living in China

Valid chinese residency VISA on cancelled old passport is valid or not?

I have valid chinese residence VISA on my old indian passport but my old passport is cancelled and i have new passport now. Is that VISA on old passport is still valid?

As long as the information on your old and new passports are same, the VISA on old passport is still valid. Don't worry.

But the problem is passport number. On my VISA old passport number is mentioned but I have got a new passport with different passport number.
