72hour visa free transit in china

Question

Arriving in beijing from uk to go on a cruise  to japan from tianjin. stay over in beijing will be less than 72 hours. will i qualify for 72 hour visa free transit.l am a british national.

Hi, if your total layover time in Beijing and Tianjin is within 144 hours, you can enjoy 144 hr free transit in mainland China, and no visa is required for that. Nice trip.
