About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Macau - Shanghai - HK Dear Sir or Madam

For flying from HK to Shanghai and back to Macau or Flying from Macau to Shanghai and back to HK the 72h Visa Free Transit comes into effect? Or is a tourist visa for 30 days needed?

That's fine for 144 hours transit without visa at Shanghai if your flights are non-stop.
