How long does it take to go from L to Q1 visa while in china?

I'm planning to get married to my Chinese fiancee in Beijing or Shanghai, China, and I'm on a L type. I want to live there for at least a year and want to switchover to the Q1 asap. Anyone know how long it usually takes for that process if I have all the documents? Thanks.
