About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Do I need Chinese Visa for Delhi(India) -> Guangzhou (China) -> San Francisco (USA) but via Wuhan ?

Hello,
I’m flying New Delhi (India) to San Francisco (USA) on May 14 via China Southern but the itinerary is that first stop-over in China is Guangzhou and then Guangzhou to San Francisco flight goes via Wuhan in China.
I’m not sure if I have to change plane in Wuhan.
Do I need China transit/tourist entry permit? Or can I get 24-hour TWOV permit at the time of landing in Guangzhou and no visa required ?
Thanks much in advance to the esteemed seniors for heir guidance.
Regards

Atul, as long as your total layover time in mainland China is within 24 hours, you can get 24 hr direct transit, and no visa is needed.

Thanks much. Yes, my total layover is just 4 hours 40 mins and I checked and don’t need to change planes in Wuhan. My Guangzhou flight touches down in Wuhan and then the same plane carries on to San Francisco.
While Thanking you for your response,
I take that I’m not required any transit or tourist visa. In case with the above info, you believe otherwise, I’ll be obliged if you suggest. Thanks again
