About:FAQ of Chinese Visa Application

Can I exit China when my Visa has expired but I entered before the "enter before" date?

I have a multiple entry visa in my old passport valid until 28th July 2019 allowing me to stay 90 days after entry. Can I stay in China until after 28th July?

Another question is that if I enter China in June, but leave to go to Hong Kong, will the 90 days duration of stay be recounted once I reenter China again after Hong Kong?

Furthermore, will I need to return to China after Hong Kong before 28th July since it is the "enter before" date?

Many thanks,
Irene

1) The visa's "entry before" period is for entry only and does not affect your period of stay, so if your visa's entry before date is Jul 29 then you must enter China before 11:59 PM on Jul 28. Then you will be allowed to stay for 90 days from Jul 29.
2) Yes.
3) If you want to stay in China after Jul 29 then you must enter China on Jul 28 at the latest.
