About:How to Choose China Train Ticket Types?

We are interested to try the deluxe soft sleeper.

I have 2 adults and 1 child. We are interested to try the deluxe soft sleeper from Taiyuan to Beijing. My child is 8 years old. Is it possible to buy a hard seat tic for her but she comes to our cabin.

No, it is not allowed. Unless your child also have deluxe soft sleeper ticket, she/he can stay there for a night.
