Chinese passport help

I'm helping someone renew their chinese passport but I can't seem to find an official website with all the info I need regarding the photo requirements. What info do I bring to my photographer regarding the size of the photo. Does it need the name of the photo studio on the back or the date taken. Do I need to put anything on the back?

Thank you.

Hi, usually the required photo should be a recently-taken bareheaded one against a light background with size of 48mm x 33mm. If you renew the Chinese passport from the China embassy in Canada, you can check the information from the official website of the embassy.
