About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

UAE. Planning Dubai to Shanghai (stay 5 days) to Hong Kong straight to Dubai.

Will there be any problem if I fly straight on from Hong Kong rather than staying there for a few days?

That won't be a problem as long as your DXB-PVG flight does not stop in HK or Mainland China.

If this is Emirates make sure its on a single ticket. They have history of incorrectly denying boarding if separate tickets.
