About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Travelling from London UK, On the 17 April,2018, Stop over of nearly 12 hrs before going to N.Zeala

Hi
On 17 April, 2018, I am travelling from London to New Zealand. Arriving in Beijing on 18 April. I have a Stopover in Beijing for about 12 hrs. I made a hotel booking to rest for about 8 to 10 hrs, before catching my next flight to N.Zealand.
Will I be able to leave the Beijing Capital Airport, to go to my booked hotel. If I apply for the 72 hrs Stay Permit, when I arrive in Beijing on the 18 April.
All Your reply appreciated
Thanks
Carl

UK > Beijing > New Zealand is fine. Yes you will be able to leave the airport to stay at the reserved hotel.
