Change of S2 visa to S1

hello ,

I am working in Guangzhou and have residence permit until July 31st 2018. I have applied S1 for my family and it is rejected as the validity of my RP is less than 6 months. Can I bring my family on S2 type and then change it to S1 when my RP gets renewed .
