Permanent resident of Canada and a Philippine passport holder flying to Japan transiting to China

I am a permanent resident of Canada and a Philippine passport holder. I am flying to Japan (with a tourist visa) and have a 13 hour layover in China (transit). Do I need a Chinese entry permit? Thanks.

Hi, Rolly, you don't need to apply for a visa if you are transiting from one of the qualifying Chinese cities.
