About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

72 hour visa free-We are passport holders of the US.

We will be traveling from the USA to London - then while in London we want to take a trip to Beijing for 72 or 144 hours (whichever is allowed), then fly back to London before returning home in the US...does this meet requirements?

Hi, London-Beijing-London is not a transit at all, so you cannot enjoy free transit by traveling like that. You need to apply for a visa or change your itinerary.
