About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Thailand passport - Do i need a visa? Thank you in advance.

I am flying on Thailand passport from Los Angles to Thailand with 8 hours of layover at Beijing international airport.

From my understanding, I dont have to ask for entry permit unless I travel from/to Urumqi Diwopu International airport which I dont. But your info makes me confused a little bit.

Thailand passport holders cannot use free transit in mainland China. So you need to apply for a visa for the trip.

I already checked with the airline and the embassy and they said I dont need a visa for my transit if it's less than 24 hrs at only one airport in China. In case of more than 1 airport in China I need a visa tho.
