Fly Dubai to Shanghai to Hong Kong to dubai

I plan to fly the above journey. Can I use the 72hr free visa. I'm from the UK national passport. Jeremy

Thank you for your response. Could I fly Dubai/shanghai/Hangzou/Hong Kong back to Dubai? Hangzou would be an easier deparpature airport to Hong Kong or do I need to leave through the same Shanghai airport? Thank you.
