How much does it cost to take the train and transfer to bus 879? Also, which section is better? since going to JYG pass by Badaling as well, i thought of visiting both. Any advise?

1. The train S2 from downtown to Badaling Great Wall takes about 1.5 hours for a single ride and the fare is CNY 7 per person. About the public transportation to Badaling, you are suggested to take bus no.877 from Deshengmen. Because the train tickets are always sold out. No.877 is a non-stop bus, taking about 1 hour and costing CNY 12 per person. The drop-off site is close to the pulley car lower station and about 10 minutes' walk to the entrance. 2. From Badaling to JYG, you can take bus no.879 to the Great Wall directly.Hope helpful!
