Do I need a travel visa to stay at Dazhong Hotel Airport in Shanghai Airport?

I'm an American with a United States passport and have a 13 hour layover so will like somewhere to sleep. If I do, do anyone have any other suggestions of where to sleep or go in the airport? Thank you!

Hi, you are qualified for 24 hours visa-free transit, so it is fine to apply for a stay permit at the airport. Then leave the airport with it and check in the Dazhong Hotel with ease.
