About:Hong Kong Visa Policy

My Philippines friend would like to visit me in Hong Kong.

I have a Hong Kong permanent resident, if I have a friend from Philippines coming to visit Hong Kong as a tourist, and she got also the ticket for returning back to Philippines, and she wants to stay for one month (30 days), do she need to apply for a visa or will immigration dept. will allow her to stay for 30 days or maximum only 14 days. Do she needs to have any support documents e.g my invitation letter, or any
other documents to proof that she has enough money for her stay in Hong Kong. She will stay at my hourse
and i will provide her food and accomodation.

Thank you .

thanks a lot.

Philippines passport holders can enjoy free entry to HK for a stay of not more than 14 days, so your friend needs to apply for a HK tourist visa if she will have a stay for 30 days. Your friend needs to need to provide copy of passport, the application form affixed with a passport-style photo, proof of financial support, your travel plan your invitation letter and others. You can contact HK immigration department to inquire details.
