144hrs exemption visa : how many pages they use ?

I am back on this forum, thank you for the previous answers. I changed my trip to fit your advices.

Now I have another question: it is requested to have 2 empty pages (facing each other) on the passport to have the 144h exemption visa, is it correct?

But how many pages will they actually stamped/use?

Because I am running short of pages (I have only 3 remaining and need to come back vía Hong Kong, so... another page used I suppose?)

Thanks a lot again for your help

HK no longer stamps passports so you should not worry about that. The Mainland Chinese entry permit itself takes one page but the officials may stamp your passport when departing on another empty page. It is however possible to request them to place the stamp in a used page (but not the entry permit).

Thanks John for your help!! Sorry to bother, but since you seem to know about Honk Kong, is it the same in Macau? No need to have empty page, there will be not stamp?

Thanks

It's the same with Macau. There are no entry/exit stamps and you will get a landing slip.
