About:China Customs Declaration

Do we have to declare ALL jewelry purchased in China?

Is there a minimum amount of gold/pearl jewelry we can bring back from China to the U.S. before we have to declare it?
Thanks

The policy indicates that if gold products are less than 50g (2 ounce), they are duty-free and do not need to be declared. If the weight exceeds the limitation, you should declare them at the custom. In addition, any item than will be left in China whose value exceeds CNY 2,000 should be declared.
