About:Marriage Registration in China

marrying

I am a singaporean who is going to marry a chinese man. Singapore does not have the certificate to proof single status, but only a No Marriage Record letter issued officially by the registry of marriage.
Will this be enough?
Can i confirm that my birth certificate is not necessary and only passport and this single status proof is required from me?

Hi, maybe the No Marriage Record letter issued officially by the registry of marriage in your country would be fine. You need to go to the embassy of China to get that attested beforehand. You can also contact the embassy to inquire if the No Marriage Record can take place of the proof single status. Your birth certificate is not necessary for getting married.

It's hard to say that for sure. You can contact them to inquire this.
