About:China Transit Visa

Quick question, do i need a visa if im not leaving the airport?

Im traveling to toronto to manila, i have a stop at China for exact 24 hours, and im holding Philippines passport

Khristian, if you enter a city which carries out the 24 hour direct transit policy, you may be able to use the free transit. In this case, you don’t need to apply for a visa. May I know which city you will go to?

Im going to Manila but In China Shanghai im not planning of leaving the airport. But i need to know if they can offer me a room too

You can use the free transit in Shanghai. No visa is needed.
