About:China Transit Visa

US passport holder BKK to SEA

I am flying from BKK to SEA with a layover in CAN and PVG. I am assuming I will need to transfer from the international terminal to the domestic terminal. Do I need to get a transport visa and can I just get that at the airport?

Sara, if your total layover time in mainland China is less than 24 hours, no transit G type will be required for that.
