what about 2 layovers at pvg in 12 daysbeing able to rent a hotel room

Hello! I'm a US citizen with a 16 hour layover in PVG airport. I have two questions. 1) Will I qualify for the 24 hour permit for both layovers, or only one? 2) will I need any type of documentation (visa) to rent a hotel in Shanghai city?

If your both layovers are international flights and less than 24h, you can enjoy that!To enter the city, you need to apply for a temporary stay permit upon arrival.
