is the mountain free if i take public bus 5 for zhangjiajie?

Here it says that you can take the public bus 5 to the mountain, does that mean it’s free entry to the mountain without the cable car?If the ticket of 258 yuan includes free transportation by cable car/bus, why would I need to take the public bus 5?

No, bus 5 can’t take you into the scenic area. You will be dropped off outside. Actually, no public bus is allowed to enter the scenic area. Only tourist bus runs inside the area, so you still need to pay for the entrance fee!
