About:Shanghai Sightseeing Bus

Long Waiting for Shanghai Sigtseeing Bus

Some tourist said that they must wait long at the bus stop. Is that true? How long we must wait to take another bus to go to another place? Better metro or sightseeing bus?

It is kind of true. I took line 1 of the City Sighteeing Bus and waited for 25min or so. But it indeed passes many attractions. If you are not interested in seeing them, taking subway to your destination is faster.

Is it far from the subway station to the attractions? Because i bring my parents, i don't think they can walk too far :)

Don’t worry! Nearly all the famous attractions are close to the subway stations, like the Bund, about 300m east of Nanjing Rd (E) station, Yuyuan Garden, about 200m east of Yuyuan Garden Station, and Oriental Pearl Tower, about 200m northwest of Lujiazui station.

If it’s still a little far for your parents, you can choose to take a cab after leaving those stations.
