About:China Visa Entries / Validity / Duration of Stay

Trying to work in china

Hi,

We’re currently based in London but my partner has been offered a job near Shanghai and I am looking for the best visa to join him on. I would be looking to work whilst in China and would need something long-term, as he would be signing a contract for (potentially) 2 Years.

I will be looking for work before I leave but if I cannot find a job what type of tourist entry permit should I apply for so that I can look for work? Also, if I were to get a tourist entry permit is it possible to stay longer than 2 months and have multiple entries/exits without a return flight/concrete plans? He is a teacher, so we would want to travel when he is off work.

Hi, Hollie, if so, you can try to apply for a 2-year tourist L type which is valid for two years and 90 days of stay per entry.
