24 hours direct transit for Thailand to Beijing to Mongolia ?

I’m planning to fly to Beijing from Thailand, staying 18hours( 4pm till 10am next day),then go to Mongolia by train from Beijing station. Does 24 hours direct transit suit me? Where can I find updated 24 hours direct transit from Chinese Embassy or exit& entry administration bureau re 24 hours direct transit and 144 hours free transit?

That won't work, because the train will take another 7+ hours to get to the Sino-Mongolian border where you'll be going through immigration and customs. Your time in China will exceed 24 hours and by then you'll be considered to have overstayed your welcome which will result in a 5-year ban. Only international trains departing from Beijing West Railway Station are allowed for 144-hour transit.
