I am legal resident in Japan travelling on a Jamaican passport

Hi, I am legal resident in Japan travelling on a Jamaican passport to USA from Osaka with a stop in Beijing for less than 24 hours both legs. do I need a transit G?

No. You can use 24 hr direct transit.
