About:Chinese Embassy in Japan

Tourist visa. I am mexican but I am living in Japan.

I want to travel to China for some days as vacations.
Can I apply for the visa at the Chinese embassy in Tokyo?
At least how many days before the trip do I have to apply for the visa?

Usually, one is advised to apply one month prior to the trip. You can have a try to apply for it in Japan, but I’m afraid it is rather difficult for you to get it from there because temporary visitors in Japan are usually advised to make the application in their home country.
