Hello !This is Maria, nice to meet you :) I'm going to Sri Lanka at the end of March/beginning  of April.  I'm on the process to change my current visa, but unfortunately I'm not sure if it is enough time. Probably I'll apply for a tourist visa to be able to entry the country again. I would like to ask if you know how much cost a tourist visa for a European citizen, also if it's possible to apply as an urgent application and the cost too.I'm looking forward to hearing from you! You can apply for an electronic travel authorization to enter Sri Lanka. According to their website, it only takes hours, around weekend and public holidays it might last longer.You can visit www.eta.gov.lk for more information.

Sorry, I didn't explain well - I need to apply for a Chinese tourist visa in Sri Lanka (I think the Chinese embassy is in Colombo).I would like to ask you if I can apply for a Chinese tourist visa in Colombo, how much is the cost for this visa + the urgent application and also, the documents that they need for the application.Thanks in advance and thank you for you fast response

Yes. You can apply for the Chinese visa at the Chinese embassy in Colombo. As far as I know, it cost around RS 3,900 for the visa application. The regular processing time is 4 working days. If you need urgent application, the additional fees is RS 4,000 for same day and RS 2,700 for 2 or 3 working days. Normally, the required documents are your valid passport, visa application form with photo, proof of legal stay or residence status, etc. Maybe you can call the embassy at +94-11-2688610 or +94-11-2676658 for more details.
