Question regarding visa to China

Hi,

I am a resident of Ohio (U.S. citizen) and have the following question:

1. Can I apply for a tourist visa by mail? For example send my completed application with fee, travel itinerary and flight confirmation by U.S. mail OR do I have to come personally to the Chinese Consulate General in Chicago to apply.

Thanks!

Best regards,
Maleeha

Hi, the mailed application is not accepted by the embassy. You should go to China embassy in person to submit the application or find someone else to do that on your behalf.
