About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Hello I am a US citizen traveling from Hong Kong to Beijing and want to use 144 visa hour program

and then continue to travel to United States please let me know my options for tours and is that possible with the visa program?

Yes, you can do a tour with the free transit program. In Beijing, of course the Great Wall is your first choice. You can spend half a day there and then half day for the Tian'anmen Square. You can also visit the Forbidden City and nearby Hutongs to feel locals' life.
