About:China Business Visa

what type of activities can you do / not do with a type m visa?

If I am paid out of country, what kinds of things fall under business and trade as per the type m? Consulting? Teaching/leading workshops?

You can conduct activities related to your business trade as well as some sightseeing.

Thanks for your reply Nancy. So, that's a yes, that one could teach and lead workshops if it is related to one's trade, correct? Is there anywhere I can find more details about this?

Yes, you are right. But if you will wok in China, you need to apply for a work Z type beforehand.

sorry, now I am confused. So I can teach or lead workshops, correct? When you say I cant work in china, I assume that means I cant get paid from an organization in China with an M. To do that, I would need a Z. But with an M, if my employer is from outside of China, again, I can teach or lead workshops. Correct?
