Question

Hi! I'm flying from Winnipeg-Cairo, Cairo-Guangzhou, Guangzhou-Manila.  Flight from Cairo arrives at 1500 and flight to Manila leaves at 600 the next day, which gives me about 15hrs in China.  If I want to go out of the airport, or perhaps stay in a hotel within the airport, will I need a transit G?

If you have the Philippines passport, you are able to use 24 hr direct transit in Guangzhou by flying like that, and no visa is required to go out of the airport after applying for a free temporary stay permit at the immigration office of Guangzhou airport.
