Leaving China Early

Hi, I arrived in China with a single entry Z Visa (work) but due to certain reasons I am thinking about leaving early. Would I be stopped at the point of departure if I don't have a release letter or will they just accept the departure form?

If you want to resign and leave China, it won't have any problem when departure. But you should write off the work permit first. Generally speaking, your current company will help you with it. In this way, it won't influence your Chinese visa applications in the future. Or you can also contact Exit and Entry Administration of the local PSB to consult specific issues. Hope helpful!
