About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Beijing visa??

My cruise ship docks in Tianjin for Beijing at 6am on the 27th March and departs at 6pm on the 29th. Do I qualify under the 144 hour free transit that came into effect on 27.12.2017?
Surprisingly neither the cruise company not the Chinese center in London can give be a definitive answer!

Hi, you qualify for the 144 hour free transit if you will go to a third country or region different from the last one you come from after transiting in Beijing and Tianjin.
