About:Chinese Temporary Residence Permit

apply for long term stay in china

My husband passed away last Sep 2017. I am holding a foreign passport, my late husband from Hong Kong have permanent stay permit and the house is registered under his name. How can I apply for long term stay in china so that I can help to take care of his property and inheritance matters?

Agnes, after getting married, if you have lived in China for 5 years in a row and the annual stay is no less than 9 months, you can apply for the Chinese permanent residence permit. Otherwise, I'm afraid you cannot get it.
