About:2024 / 2025 / 2026 Public Holiday Calendar

We are traveling in October 2018 to Shanghai and arriving towards the end of National Holiday Week.

Can we expect that the holiday crowds will start to lessen as the week progresses or is it just super crowded for the entire week? Is the following quiet once the Chinese travelers have gone home and back to work? Thanks!

Yes, generally speaking, the holiday crowds will decrease at the end of National Holiday Week. Most Chinese tourists will prepare to get back to home at that time. Don't worry. Have a nice journey!
