About:China Visa

Processing time for hong kong visa

Hi, i just submited all documents for my wife and pay the processing fee for applying hong kong visa to the china embassy in singapore.

Will be travelling with her from hcm city to hk and back to hcm city for a 4day trip.

May i know what will be the processing time?
Some people told me 4-6weeks. Some tell me about 10 days including sending documents back and fro hk.

Any help pls.

It needs 4 to 6 weeks for the application process if the application will be transferred to HK immigration department by China embassy. But it takes four working days for the processing if the embassy can issue your visa directly.

So in what situations they will and will not send to Hk immigration.
We are just doing a straight forward 3 night stay in Hk with hotel and air tix all furnished.
Only aprox 16 days before we depart.

It'a hard to say because the situation depends on the embassy.
