Am I Elgible for 144 transit Visa in Beijing

I hold a Canadian Passport and will be travelling from Canada to Hong Kong. From Hong Kong we will be flying to Thailand. After Thailand we go to Macau for a layover (a little over 24 hours so will be leaving the airport for an overnight stay) then we fly from Macau to BJ for 4 days then will depart BJ for Canada. We don’t need a visa for Macau. Would I qualify for the 144 hour visa-free transit for my stay in BJ?
