About:Beijing Zoo

Getting to Beijing Zoo

If I am staying at the CNCC Grand Hotel, what is the quickest way to get to the zoo? What time should I arrive to see the Pandas?

You are suggested to take subway there. Walk east for several minutes to Olympic Park Station to take line 8, and then transfer to line 2 at Gulou Dajie. Then, transfer to line 4 at Xizhimen again and get off at Zoo.
As for best time to see pandas, morning is better, that’s when they are more active.

Thank you. Do you know how far it is from the CNCC Grand Hotel to the Beijing Zoo and from the zoo to the Forbidden City? And how do you get from the zoo to the Forbidden City? Thank you!

The hotel is about 11km from the zoo, and the zoo is about 9km from the forbidden city. You can take subway line 4 to Xidan to transfer to line 1. Get off at Tiananmen East and walk north through Tiananmen Square, you will get there.
