Can i extend my ticket whilst on the train

I didn't realise that the train i am on to Guiyang stops at my final destination tongzi. Is it possible to extend my ticket a further two stations whilst on the train?

When you arrive at Guiyang, please do not get off the train. You can find the train conductor to pay the ticket price to Tongzi. If there are no seats available, you need to stand all the way to the final station.
