About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Manila to Dusseldorf via Guangzhou

Hi, I'm from the Philippines and I have almost 10h layover in Guangzhou en route to Dusseldorf, Germany. Do I need a transit visa even if I don't have plans of leaving the airport? Many thanks!

Hi, you can use 24 hour direct transit in Guangzhou. Upon arrival, you should follow the direction signs to find the immigration office where you can apply for the temporary stay permit to leave the airport.
