United States passport holder traveling for business

I'm traveling to Shanghai from US. I'm staying about 3 days to install equipment and provide technical services for a client. Will I need a Visa?

Hi, you don't need it if you will go to a third country or region different from the last one you come from after transiting in Shanghai. But you need to apply for one if your travel route is USA-Shanghai-USA.
