visa application in macao

Question

Hello,I am a French passport holder and I am planning a China visit trip starting with two or three days in Macao. Is it very risky to wait to be in Macao to issue my tourist visa, or is it completely fine? also, am I going to waste a lot of time over there at the office? and can I do it at the Macao airport upon arrival? Thank you so much in advance for the advice!!!

Hi, you can apply for the Chinese tourist L type in Macau. But you cannot do that at the Macao airport upon arrival. You need to make the application from the office of the commissioner of the ministry of foreign affairs of PRC in Macau. It may take four working days for the processing.
